I dropped outta high school when I was 13 Anyway, my hand’s hurtin', So we gonna change keys here So the Mendocino was laced with a little Berkeley The music was getting louder Homeless were getting colorful The uppity new hippies were looking at me rather frightful I mean, I’m just a 6’10” Arab from Mississippi What do they really see? A large brown man speakin' funny? Should be another normal thing in San Fran The people knew I was high But the cops didn’t Seems they started profilin’ Anyway, what do I know?
